Absolutely, we want this to be your celebration. Within our client planning portal, we encourage our clients to add songs to their must-play list, play if possible list, and even a do-not-play list. We also offer the opportunity to pick the games that are played. With that in mind, we do events every weekend and would be happy to guide you based on our experiences as to what generally works best
What do you want us to wear? As a baseline, our lead MC’s and Interactive DJ’s will be in a suit for Mitzvahs, and dressed appropriately for private events. We love to match your theme, so if you would like us to dress a certain way, please let us know during the planning process.
We are here with you every step of the way. Once you book with us, we are always here to answer any questions you may have about your event. For Mitzvahs, your lead MC will reach out to you about a month prior to the event to go over all the details. This includes music selection, timeline flow, and games. For corporate and private events, your primary DJ is generally in touch about two weeks in advance to go over the details we need to make your event “Epic”
It all depends. We have the ability to provide a separate login for your guests to make requests. This is popular for corporate events and school dances where there is not guest of honor. For private events such as Mitzvah or Sweet 16, we want to ensure that we play the guest of honor’s requests. As part of our planning meetings, we will address if any guest requests should be made in advance, and if not, if we can take requests from your guests during the party.
Our contract begins the moment your guests arrive and ends at last dance. Prior to the start of the party and after it ends, we are onsite setting up and cleaning up. Our setup, plus travel, is built into the price of your event and there is no additional charge.
A photo booth does not replace your professional photographer, as we feel that they complement each other. Your photographer is going to capture portraits of family and capture the memories of the event. Our photo booths are designed as a take-home for your guests to remember the celebration, and also a fun memory for you as we provide all of the digital copies of the photo sessions.
Absolutely. We have the appropriate amount of coverage required for every venue we have performed, including Smithsonian Museums. If your venue needs proof of coverage, we are happy to provide our certificate of insurability.
Our goal is to satisfy everyone at your event. Our DJs will run sound checks before your guests arrive, with the goal for the music to be loud enough that your guests can dance, but quiet enough for guests dancing to hold a conversation. As always, you will have full control over our volume, so if something is too loud or too soft, please let your DJ know and a simple turn of the knob can adjust the volume.
